Comments Sensory overload diving. Hammerhead Sharks [lots] plus Galapagos, Silky, Silver Tip, and the everpresent White Tip Reef Sharks, Turtles, Marble Rays and others, Morays of many types, Thousands of reef fish on every dive. We watched fish laying eggs and Sharks feeding at night. I swam about 1 foot over a large Manta and she tolerated me for several minutes. We saw the largest tuna that I ahve ever seen on one dive, approaching the 8 foot range. This is diving the way it must have been before man intervened. I could not say enough good things about the diving on Coco Island.
We were on the Okeanos Agressor for a ten day cruise. Rooms were fine, food was plentiful and good, service was excellent at all times, plenty of fresh water, also on-deck fresh water showers for rinse after dives with Soap provided.
Connections from San Jose were smooth and efficient with a knowledgeable guide [Rudy] for the two hour +/- ride to the boat.
The boat is showing some signs of wear but was clean and well maintained. Thanks to Captain Alberto.
