Comments This was my 6th-7th trip to Cocos. Several trips were on the Argo with the Turtle Iland Resortation Network foks. They conduct trutle and shark research at Cocos and have been very involved in protecting sharks in the triangle of Cocos,Galapagos and Malpelo. The dive operation is well organized and safety is always foremost in all aspects of the boat and dive operation. I love diving here for the incredible structure, curents and crtiters. The last trip featured the frequent appearance of the iconic schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks as well as galapagos sharks, tiger sharks and a whale shark as well as other pelagics like tuna and rays. For distraction there are plenty of tropicals and huge schools of bigeye jacks and trevally amongst others. The Cocos "cleaners", yellow Barberfish and King Angels, are at the cleaning stations waiting for customers. All diving is from skiffs and most dives are 50 min with extended safy stops "out in the blue" to see what might swim by. You'll be well fed and the crew is very accommodating. I honestly don't have any material "cons".
The "crossing" is long,36-38hrs, and can be rough but this is my favorite destination for the diving and the Undersea Hunter crew.

UW Photo Comments Adequate space, out of the weaather and in a area distanced frm the active dive area. The is also an room inside the boat for processing photos, however, it is currently in use to provide extra room for "social distancing" during meals.
