Comments Another great dive experience for the 3rd year in a row. We find a Villa to rent by going to VRBO and putting in the parameters we want. We book a car through D&D Car rental and they meet us at the airport with the car and any help we need with directions. We book our diving with Bas Harts a Dutch resident of Curacao who specializes in shore diving. Bas shows up at the house and over coffee plans the days 2 tank dive around your desires and timeframe. I usually want to go to sites where macro photography opportunities are the greatest. Bas has several places that he has access to by building relationships over the years with the land owners. Curacao has a wonderful and healthy reef system a full array of reef fish, turtles and eels. Curacao does not have a lot of large fish, sharks or rays. With that said I did see a nice Eagle Ray on one dive this year.

Curacao has lots of other things to do as well as diving. Great restaurants are plentiful. Willemstad, the capitol, has a robust night life. The National Park has hiking and biking trails. There are plenty of nice sand beaches to spend a non-diving day relaxing on.
