Comments Aggressor advertise a trip to the Soft Coral Capital of the World and their webiste uses words like brilliant, dazzle any diver, vibrant colours and breathtaking. But what they deliver is very different.

The current schedule of diving around Kadavu Island is no more than 2 star diving. There is pretty much nothing here to see underwater. Just a few tiny coral fish. Some nice hard corals. Stuff that you can see from a beach dive from dozens of resorts in South East Asia. (I should know I have been organising such trips for the past 11 years). We did two days diving on the same atol: left side, right side, inside, outside. No more than a dozen fish of any species living in the whole area!

And the double whammy is that the Soft Coral Capital of the World which Aggressor tell us was destroyed in Cyclone Winston is very much alive and well. Other liveaboards like Siren still operate there as do day dive operations from Wananavu and Volivoli Beach Resorts.
