Comments Nice place amd nice people. Family owned. Very remote. Small, only 3 bures (two small and one large). Simple but very well kept and comfortable. Still new and improving. Only been in operation two years. Medium size boat with room for 6 divers plus a couple smaller boats. This permitted local Astrolabe reef diving only along the east side of Ono Island. Only resort on Ono Island so we were the only boat at the sites. Dive operations on Kadavu Island do not come this far north. Since they did not have a larger boat with bigger engines, we could not reach the nicer more well known sites on the reef around Kadavu. Food was OK. They grow their own veggies and fruit. They do not have a PADI certified instructor. Dive masters from the local village were OK at best. No A/C, no cell service. They do have WiFi/internet. They advertise snorkeling with the manta rays. There is cleaning station but the manta rays were not there during our stay. There is no shopping, spa, massage, and no touristy type stuff, excursions, hiking, etc. Just relaxing and diving.

UW Photo Comments Rinse tank on land; nothing on the boat. No thought given to UWPs equipment. Where there was time a separate dive master sometimes guided UWPs separately to allow for better and more close up attention to opportunities.
