Comments This was one of our best trips. We can't remember the last time we saw hard coral this pristine. Before this trip, I wondered if coral this pristine still existed. The hard corals are not colorful, but they are otherwise wonderful. The soft corals were of every color. We did spend two days (of our 10) in areas with 3-star coral, but that was specifically to see mantas and sharks. We saw two manta and a handful of reef sharks during those days. We also saw a couple of sharks each day, but this is certainly not a "big stuff" trip. We also dove a couple of rubble fields looking for small stuff.

Dive masters Bel and Mike are great. The entire crew was as friendly and helpful as we could have asked. Anna served us three great meals each day on white tablecloths. Each passenger ordered from a menu of three options.

The cabins are large, and they have more storage space than we needed.

The diving schedule includes 4 day-dives, one every 3 hours starting at 7:00 AM. They asked us to keep each dive to 60 minutes (Plus-minus). Most dives were on bommies with shallow, beautiful tops, so we never came close to single digit RBT, which is unusual for four, hour-long dives. Everyone used 30-32 Nitrox. I did one night dive, where we saw very little. We skipped the next two night dives, and the reports were the same as ours. However, the 4 day dives offered me plenty of bottom time, so I didn't miss the night dives.

We surfaced after 5:00 PM from our 4th day-dive, and twice our skiff driver (Veron) said he spotted a pod of pilot whales. We grabbed our snorkels and were able to jump in with them twice. We finally headed back to the Na'ia just as the sun was setting.

UW Photo Comments I shot WA on 33 dives. I used macro on 3 and always wished I had my WA. There was a very large, multi level camera room. There were 5 of us with full sized rigs and several had Go-Pro-sized cameras. The camera room was also used for empty suitcases, but we had plenty of room and they offered to make more.
