Comments This is a high end boat and everything is geared to the divers need. Unfortunately, the week we were there, there was a threat of a tropical storm/typhoon. Because of that, the boat captain was not willing to go too far from safe harbor. Early on there was a good chance the trip could be aborted and several divers opted to leave rather than risk being stuck in Fiji. We stayed and the storm did not become an issue. By then it was too late to take the normal route, so we missed some of the highlights. The crew did their best to keep us informed of the ever changing situation and find good sites. The water was choppy so they looked for sites where the reef would protect us as we entered and exited the water.

As for the boat itself, it is extremely nice and comfortable. The food is excellent with options. The staterooms are comfortable. The dive deck is separate from where the tanks are kept between dives. The crew handled the tanks for the divers so we didn't have to lug them. Entry was a back roll off the skiff. Re-entry was to remove the tank and then crawl back in. The crew helped. They have ladders but the crew didn't want to use them because they took too long to put down and get back up. They crew knew everyone's name by the end of the first day (they posted pictures).

UW Photo Comments Large area for cameras. Briefing before dive indicated whether to be prepared for macro or not. Most dives were macro. Crew handled the cameras getting on and off the skiff and moving them from the camera room to the launch area and back.
