Comments We had a 10 day trip booked on the Naia (our second trip w/ them) in early March -- about 10 days to 2 weeks after Fiji was hit by Cyclone Winston, a category 5 storm that caused lots of destruction. Ours was the first complete charter after the storm and everyone was a bit apprehensive -- not sure of the damage to the reefs. We did see some some reefs which were heavily damaged, but right next to them, you could find another area with no signs of the storm. The entire crew, cruise directors Amanda and Josh, and the Naia's owner Cat Holloway, worked tirelessly to make sure that we found great spots to dive -- and mantas and sharks on many dives! Almost all of the guests were return guests on the Naia -- a testament to the excellent boat, crew and diving. Most of the guests brought emergency relief supplies and the crew delivered these to damaged villages. The ship is very comfortable, the food was delicious and they have a new cappuccino machine, so for me it was about as close to perfect as it gets!
