Comments there have tons of reviews about the Naia, including the stories last year about an obnoxious client who harassed an Undercurrent reviewer. Well, we had none of those problems. Eight of us arranged to do the charter when our friend Paul Humann was supposed to be aboard (he couldn't make the trip), and had a super time. So many of the same crew were on board I got to share photos from my last time on the Naia (11 years ago)!
We all had a super time, and even with a depth restriction due to PFO issues under analysis to 30 feet I enjoyed the diving immensely. I thought Amanda and Josh did a super job and were professional and friendly at the same time.
My wife who has snorkeled everywhere I've dived loved the snorkeling and was in the water longer than the divers.
We'll be going back again.

Did you really mean depth restrictions to 30 feet? And Africa?

sorry I asked the web master to change to the location to the Pacific (it was after i did a review of mozambique). My diving to 30 feet was a personal restriction because I was in the middle of a PFO evaluation (and have since had the PFO closure procedure).

I understand now. I was on the Naia in Nov. 14 (see my review), so I puzzled about the depth restriction. Just to make it clear to everyone, I think it was 100 feet suggested for max. depth.
