Comments The web site is good BUT it does absolutely no justice to the actuality. Each Burre(spell) is so typical Fiji. Gorgeous woods and just the feel of old Fiji. The owners are Jim and Robin Kelly. They built Nakia with ecology totally in mind. From a huge garden with fruits and veggies that would make a French chef salivate to the entire rolling grounds that are manicured but not over the top. The cleanest swimming pool you could ever want and views that are stunning. The Kellys make you feel at home whether taking you for a drive into town or discussing food preparations over an amazing breakfast. Julie Kelly, their daughter is the sole owner of the dive shop which is an eight minute walk from the lodge. All of your equipment that you want to be kept theire is waiting for you when you arrive. Julie is by far the best dive master my wife and I have ever dove with. Aside from a very strong diver she is a hawk underwater. Watching for everything that could make the dive that more memorable. Her underwater communication skills are amazing and with 4-6 knot currents, safety is her prime concern. The diving, when we were there; new moon and winter made for ADRENELIN diving BUT because of all this water movement you get an amazing amount of schooling fish. Lots of thermodlines! Ghost Pigmy sea horses and blue ribbon eels just to name a few on most dives. I can only compare the dive sites to those found while diving off the Bilikiki in the Solomon's or if Kosrae is the hard coral capital of the world then Fiji, at the Somosomo straits is the soft coral capital of the world. My wife would not let me send this without a mention of the fabulous over the top colors on the many sites on "RAINBOW REEF"
