Comments A gem of a place with healthy reef--probably the healthiest hard corals I've seen anywhere. A friend and spend 9 nites here before heading to another resort and then the Nai'a on my 3rd trip to Fiji. We arrive early March, so still cyclone season and there was one nearby though it hit the mainland and Vanuatu. It caused some wind and afternoon rain for us but we got out diving every day as one side or other of the island as one is always relatively sheltered. Diving is great on both sides. Anthias, Fusiliers, leopard shark, a few manta tho is was really in the season for these. Amazing acres and acres of all varieties of hard corals, some the size of a bus. We generally did two AM dive/day, with a PM dive a couple days. Staff very accommodating as to whatever we wanted to do.
No Nitrox but that was fine--very pleasant safety stops either on an island beach with tea, soda and snacks or on the boat in a cove. They keep the dives to 60 min, I had the impression to keep w the schedule to get back in time for lunch to the resort though I imagine if we pushed it they would have packed us a lunch and we could have extended.
Other things to do: kayak, including to a nearby waterfall, great snorkeling as some of the reefs very shallow, hike on the ridge overlooking the resort, village visit, snorkel the house reef ---in OK shape, sunset cruise to see birds coming home to roost, massage. They have a 'lovo' --traditional cookout on Saturdays, as well as kava with music (guys on guitars, ukulele). Beautiful grounds, the gardener give a tour --
Staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. I hope to return next year.

Closest Airport kadavu Getting There From Nadi, we caught a flight to Kadavu, which doesn't go every day. Staff from the resort met us at that tiny airport for the 90 min boat tide to the resort on Ono Island. There is a several hour wait between flights if you do it the same day. A more expensive option is to arrange a private plane thru Fiji Airways
