Comments Ra Divers did an excellent job for us considering we are in our late 70's. (Did 8 dives in four days.) The attitude of the Ra Divers (managers, dive masters, trainees and assorted other staff) was exceptional. And there's no doubt in our minds the Diver Masters we were diving with were exceptional in their experience, knowledge and understanding of not only the waters we dove in but of the divers' capabilities as well. (We very much appreciated that considering our age.) These Fijians are a good hearted, warm people with a great sense of humor as well as understanding of our limitations. The dive master and boat crews were always helpful in ensuring our dives were safe but interesting and adventurous. Though the water clarity was less than desirable on this trip, the vis still allowed us to experience the beautiful corals and reef fish. We only saw a few sharks, limited amount of barracuda, tuna and other large fish, but the reefs were packed with reef fish, shimp, small eels, octopus, turtles, etc. We restricted our dive profiles to 75 feet maximum depth and averaged on the whole approximately 60 feet. That was fine for both my wife and me since most of the action in the Bligh Bay waters was at or above that depth. My wife and I believe Ra Divers is one of the best dive operators we have ever encountered. (Experience in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, US-Hawaian Islands, French Polynesia and Kiribati.)
As to the Volivoli Beach Resort, words cannot express our sincere pleasure of having the opportunity to stay there. Again, the staff (and owners) are a wonderful group. Accomadations were excellent. Grounds maintained extremely well. The meals, morning, noon and night were outstanding. This is the first and only place that everyone of the staff including the owners knew us by name. We had a GREAT EXPERIENCE and a great 50th Wedding Anniversary.

UW Photo Comments Ra Divers has quite a setup for photography. They have a special facility on shore for photographers to maintain their equipment. Though I did not take advantage of this facility those on our daily dive trips certainly did.
