Comments Salt Divers is a new operator that just started up a couple weeks before I got there. The owner and crew were exceptional. Always willing to help or not help depending on your preference. Also went out of their way to invite everyone to Kava in the evening. Two days it was just me so we dove out of a small zodiac. It was a bumpy ride but great to not being limited by the least experienced diver. The rest of the days they took the main boat which was good for at least a dozen divers. The dives were chosen based on the divers experience levels. The current can get pretty intense but behind the reef there is always a lee side to relax in. We dove the white wall, purple wall, fish factory, Cabbage patch, and several other sites. Between dives snacks and water were available.

The Maravu lodge is an old resort that is now a low end place to stay. It is adequate but you get what you pay for. From there it is a short walk to Salt Divers. There are 3 restaurant options in walking distance all of which offer decent food.
