Comments [None]Taveuni Ocean sports has a very well trained staff that pay very close attention to the divers skill level and keep the dive groups small. They are excellent at reading the strong currents which provides safety for divers skills while viewing the amazing soft corals and all their various beautiful colors. An aboundance of fish and variety of hard and soft corals hold a delight for every dive. Some hard coral damage from the Feb cyclone is evident on the front side of the wall but not in the back side. The owner, Julie, and her dive masters make sure the divers are briefed on the species the divers will see. Books are available to identify fish after dives. Usually the dive staff are very knowledgeable in identifying just about averything in the ocean. Lots of beautiful nubibranch varieties, to giant clams, sharks, anemone with clown fish, blue ribbon eels and much more. Julie is a great owner and manager as evidenced by the return business. This was our 6th year in Fiji and the last five with Julie and Taveuni Sports. We have already booked next year. We stay at Taveuni Palms which is rated as one of the top small resorts in the world with fabulous service and facilities. Check them out on their web cite.
