Comments	Fluid does a special tiger shark dive at Le Vallee Blanche on the north side of Tahiti. It's expensive, but it's very well operated, and we saw two different tiger sharks at rather close range, as well as many blacktip, gray reef, nurse, and Pacific lemon sharks. They do use a lure, though the sharks are not fed, per se. The Pacific lemon sharks are very large, but when the tiger shark shows up, it's an OMG moment. What a phenomenal sight. The procedures are carefully briefed, and they expect you to follow them to the letter. Since we had not dived for a year, there was some question about us having to do a checkout dive the day before. We came and did a dolphin watching tour and snorkel, and after discussing our experience, we didn't need to do it. The excursion takes all day, for two tanks, and includes a fantastic lunch on board the large, comfortable boat. 10 divers max. It's worth reserving ahead. They'll pick you up at your hotel, and drop you off afterward.
