Comments I have to admit I am spoiled with great diving and I knew going in this was most likely going to be below my standards. Fun Dive was very nice and helpful they picked me up and we did just two morning dives. 4 divers and two guides, we split in two experienced and new (tons of newbies in French Polynesia). Our first dive was a Reef/Lemon Shark dive. Not much in the way of coral, lots of small to medium sized tropicals. No macro to speak of. This site was being dived by two other dive operations. We did find at least two different Lemon Sharks and a few black tips also a very large turtle. ,Viis was around 70' . All and all I decent dive but far less in the way of coral and macro then most places I have been and somewhat pedestrian.

Our second dive we split up. My group of 3 plus guide did a drift channel dive. About 30-60 ft range with vis a max of 40'. We dropped to the bottom as instructed and we were instructed. We were immediately met by at least 30 eagle rays. Several more times along the drift we meet up with several groups of Eagle rays. The current was not to swift and the vis was low. Towards the end of the dive we found the resident huge school of jacks. One of the best low vis dives I have ever done.

The shop was the best of the ones I dove with on my trip but a general lack of concern with touching the reefs and marine life I experienced on this trip was disturbing.
