Comments Rangiroa is one of the dive destinations in French Polynesia. Y AKA is a relatively new dive operation run by Marco and Katy, two extremely nice and professional people. They previously ran the Topdive franchise on Rangiroa and have since opened this operation. They were very helpful in organizing the diving, making sure that everyone had all the equipment they needed and guiding great dives. Even though they are in the French "system" for diving, they are not as stringent in dive times and managing divers as other dive centers. They also group together divers by experience so that everyone enjoys themselves. Diving is about seeing large fish, and we did: sharks on about every dive, turtles, eagle rays, and had two chances to interact with dolphins. Katy (who speaks quite good English) and Marco (who doesn't speak much English) can organize your entire visit and are quite hospitable. Thomas is a very professional dive guide and he was also very helpful. I would strongly recommend them!
