Comments Aquanauts is good for beginners, not for experienced divers. We had to fight for most of our wishes or be considered as one of the group. We finally demanded to be separated from some newbees. Diving is okay pricewise. The best part of the trip was a snorkle trip with our wives. I never thought I would prefer snorkeling over diving, but it was true. Perhaps the wives made the difference. However, it is expensive $500 per 1/2 day boat. The highlight of the trip was a school of squid while snorkeling. No sharks seen (well a 3 foot nurse shark), but that does not count. No big fish. Wrecks good but no fish. Good growth on the newest wreck which went down in 2000. True Blue was not a good place to stay, very expensive for services, staff good in places. Food terrible. We ate one meal there and everything elsewhere. Owners were not present as far as we were concerned and charge 10% for tips to staff (I wonder if they see the money). So be careful. Driving is fun, but on the left side and small winding roads, so be careful - obtain insurance as wrecks appear above, as well as below the surface. All is all we ranked the trip as a C and expensive. We did have fun and laughed a lot at the inconveniences and lack of custoemr service. Stay elsewhere. Aquanauts is the best dive operation on the island, but not up to our standards elsewhere.
