Comments The Arenui is a beautiful and well appointed boat. Cabins and common areas are large, comfortable and well thought out. The food is top notch. The Indonesian crew is pleasant and hard working. DM's are all very good. The guests are divided into groups of 4 or 5 per DM so there is rarely a feeling of being overcrowded. Diving in Indonesia is some of the best in the world and on this, our third trip, we had high hopes. Unfortunately, we were severely disappointed. No matter how beautiful the boat, the bottom line for us is the diving. Given the area and how the trip was marketed, many choices of dive sites were not up to the the usual standards of liveaboard Indonesia diving. And on a 2 week trip, there were a total of only 37 dives offered with some sites dived multiple times. Bottom line, although we will go back to Indonesia, we would not chose the Arenui again.
