Comments The Arenui provides an incredible live aboard package. Their care for their customers is beyond compare. They do their best to provide for those who are less than experienced divers, but the currents mean that you need to have some expertise before you can fully enjoy the total environment. Because of requests, the hosts often looked for sites that had less current, but be aware that the Komodo area is known for its currents. Safety was always a priority. Despite our prior preparation, we had some equipment failures. The cruise directors were able to fix, supplement or replace, so that we could continue our dives. Our particular trip had two 50 yr wedding anniversaries being celebrated. The age median was well over 50, and the crew accommodated our specific needs without a blink. One single diver was not experienced, and in order to accommodate all, provided him with a personal DM. Diving was excellent; service was exemplary. Food amazing and ample, with provisions for all dietary needs. We were met at the airport, taxi’d to the dock, tendered to the ship. No confusion. After the trip, they even walked us through the airport complexities to see us to our departure gates. We booked our next trip before leaving.

UW Photo Comments All our photography needs met, ie: electrical outlets, space and cleaning readily ample and available. Cameras, strobes and chargers were not to be powered in our cabins if not personally attended, obviously for safety reasons. Most of us just took a spot in the lounge (that became our own) for the length of the trip. Crew rinsed, dried and blew off our cameras and returned them to our spots after each dive. So easy.
