Comments My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 10 day stay in Raja Ampat at the outstanding Biodiversity Resort. It is run by a Catalan couple who are very active in the school and community affairs on Gam island and worked hard to make our dive vacation work for us. We hiked to see Red Birds of Paradise not too far away from the resort and boated over to hike into a viewing site set up to see the exquisite Wilson's Bird of Paradise on Waigeo Island made famous by David Attenborough. It would take pages to describe all the species of coral, invertebrates and fish that we saw and our dive guides were a able to identify almost everything we had questions about. This trip, just like our trips to South Sulawesi and Komodo were arranged by the excellent staff an Annabel Thomas' aquamarine diving.com and we appreciated all the detail they took for us, especially the friendly faces meeting us at each transport transfer along the way.
