Comments Nusabay Menjangan is located within the West Bali National Park and is a 30 minute boat ride from the entrance to the park. A boat runs a set schedule and if you are staying in Sanur, Denpasar, Nusa Dua, etc your pickup will coordinate with the boat schedule It is about a 4 hour drive from the tourist areas near the airport in Bali. The resort is quite nice and the food, western and Indonesia is good. Most of the guests are European and the most stays while we were there were 2-3 days. We were there 6 nights.

The draw of this location is its closeness to Menjangan Island. Rather than a 30-40 minute boat ride, we could dive all the dive sites with not more than a 10-15 minute boat ride.

The diving was really easy. No currents. Which means of course no big critters. (This suits me, seen one manta, seen em all. I know i'm the odd one here). The fish life was really good. One day our guide arranged two much dives off the nearby town. We took the regular hotel boat and our guide drove us to a muck dive site (I don't have the name) and then another one, this time a shore dive. Blue Corner arranged for a lunch to be delivered to us at the first site.

Blue Corner bent over backwards to make our diving great. We left our gear (as is usual where I've dived in SE Asia) at the dive center and they took care of everything.

I've dived Amed and Nusa Penida (and stayed in Amed and Nusa Lembongan). Most divers would probably say that the diving is better at both those locations, but both present difficulties for me in diving. I'm returning the next time I'm in Bali.
