Comments The crew of the Dewi was fantastic. They made the trip and ensured that we had what we needed... of course the hot water showers on deck after the dive and the warm towels and neck rubs were "over the top" for us long time divers. I have come to call this type of superb service "Valet Diving." Thanks to the crew, the diving was easy and the choices were many on types of dives: muck - modestly deep [90-100 feet], shallow, large currents, or stable currents, warm water [two days of slightly colder water - 78-79 degrees], night dives, and just plain fun and rewarding. The Dewi cruises in the Coral Triangle and makes a special effort to show off the area between Flores and Komodo islands. The master divers [Wendy, Yan, Andre & Risko] ensured that the adventure was full of brilliant color, phenomenal diversity and surprises around each corner. From the first dive, the nutibranches, the turtles, coral, colorful fish and diverse rays kept showing up "on call". The beauty and breadth of scenery was everywhere, above and below the water. The travel was a pleasure as the ship is magnificent and the large rooms make the living delightful [large shows]. One days diving was special as the current ran reliably by Crystal Rock with the manta, white tips, napoleon wrasse, spotted eagle rays and turtles were puzzled by the ackward souls from above the water trying to pretend they were comfortable while screaming past the coral in a modest current. Four dives a day for nine days enables the soul to identify with the ocean's patterns and truly lets you relax as you park in natural calderas overnight. You can not beat the Dewi crew support, the Dewi size and room, and the Coral Triangle diving. I will go back!

UW Photo Comments There were many spots on the dive table, plenty for the many divers with big cameras. In addition, they supported the small cameras and starting underwater photographers well. Excellent support for diving with camera... they hand to you after you are in water, and retrieve prior to loading on panga's.
