Comments I was so excited to be able to return to Indonesia after. 2+ year hiatus on operations. Overall Damai 2 is in good shape, diving operations smooth and at a high level of service. Trip had to reroute from Saumlaki to Tual due to Lion Air flight changes but Damai made it work. Great diving, corals were in great shape, robust fish life, a few hammerheads, and good variety. Surprising number of other boats 1-3 at sites on the Tual - Ambon route. Interesting challenge was an initial 3 then 7 total guests and 1 crew turned COVID positive en route. A lot of extra work for the staff since we separated meal in into 2 groups, one inside and the other + group outside. Even had a COVID dingy once people felt good enough to dive again.
