Comments The Good

Over the water cabins are lovely and spacious. The bed was comfortable and has mosquito netting. We saw one or two mosquitoes a day. Showers have good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

Food is good - local coffee is great

Diving at the sites close to the resort (5 to 15 min. boat ride) vary between dull to good. If you are ok with a 45 min boat ride and not returning to the resort for lunch then you can do a 3 dive day trip to better/fishier sites. The resort packs a good lunch which is eaten at a small pier, village or uninhabited island.

We were a group of four and stayed at the resort for 1 week/6 days of diving. Some of the highlights were cuttlefish, black tip reef sharks, wobbegone sharks, nudibranchs, large schools of fish and a few mantis shrimp. Current varied from light to medium.

The coral was mostly healthy but we did see a fair amount of dead coral.

The not so good

The small dive boats (for 4 divers) are not comfortable. Slippery floor and seats. Not enough room to get gear on. No head.

Getting on and off the boat to the resort dock requires a large step up/down while trying not to hit your head on the roof of the boat. The boat staff are great about helping but it’s still awkward.

The dive and restaurant staff are friendly and eager to please but do not speak or understand much English.
