Comments We had an excellent week at Gangga after an excursion on the Pindito. The resort was beautiful yet simple and relaxing. The food was great and the dive shop was very friendly and knowledible. The guides were friendly, safe, and very experienced. On our first dive we asked to see ghost pipe fish and frog fish. We promptly were taken to the first dive off North Sulawesi (yellow coconut) and the guide easily spotted 4 ornate ghost pipefish and 4 different frog fish. Some of the spots were magical including a psychadelic wall at Efratha with soft corals and frogfish. We were provided warm tea and fresh coconut milk on all the dives. The guides were relaxed and quickly adapted to our style of diving. We were thrilled with Great Wall dives for wide angle photography with clear water. At the same time there were diverse critters for macro photography. The camera room is great and well equipped. Tea and music were great by the pool in the late afternoon. Gangga Island is a great compliment to North Sulawesi and the resort allows access to fantastic walls in the north as well as trips to Lembeh and Bunaken.
