Comments Since this 10-day cruise was my first liveaboard, I cannot make comparison, but I am sure that the whole experience will be difficult to be matched.

We were only 4 divers on a boat that is designed to take more than twice as many. Therefore space and attention was plentiful. The crew of ten was extremely attentive, well organized and fun to be with. We had 3 -4 dives a day, but we usually skipped the night dives after two tries that were not that outstanding. The staff was very helpful with the equipment, even loosening the straps of the fins for us before each dive. We always had two dive guides with us, one with the photographers and one with us. There was a good diversity of dives, drift, slope, wall, sea mounts, and sometimes in strong currents. There is equipment for rent on the boat, fortunately they had a spare BCD when mine gave in. Since this location is very remote, expect quite high rental rates. I hired most of the gear in Bali. Three times we went on land for stunning hikes to see the islands from the top and to visit their wonderful lodge.

Food was very varied and plentiful, there were soft drinks and beer for a reasonable price. The upper cabin was more appealing with a reasonably sized bathroom, but the cabins under deck are small, especially the bathrooms. The upper sundeck was the preferred place to relax between dives, the common area under deck was not that comfortable. This place is used for meals and provides some tables for photographers, more than adequate for us, but I have my doubts for a bigger group.

I can highly recommend both the operator and the location and will be back!

Yes indeed, but Gran Komodo recently installed it on their larger Raja Ampat Explorer
