Comments [None]We have been with Grand Komodo on 7 dive trips over 16 years. Well, we love Indonesia, people, food, and culture. The first trip was 2003 to Raja Ampat and we saw 17 new species. This crew was exceptional--and I have been on 15 liveaboards all over the World. The boat takes 14 divers and we had 9, so we had 3 divers to 1 dive master. That is like owning your own boat! Diving is excellent--from Mantas to pigmy seahorses. I suggest that you take the northern trip, if you like palagecs, and if you have never been to Raja Ampat then take the 10 day Combo--3 days at their lovely Lodge, and 7 days on the liveaboard. We usually go in the July or August time, low season, so we were surprised to see many other liveaboards in the Sorong harbor in January. If you haven't gone to Raja Ampat--Just Do It! You will not get a better liveaboard than Grand Komodo, an all Indonesian crew of smiles, great DMs, and yummy food. This is a rewarding adventure.
