Comments We had not been to Lembeh Strait in 13 years, and returned to Lembeh Resort. The rooms have been redone, and the dining area and dive shop have been remodeled/upgraded. Food was remarkably good, and superior to our first visit. The current resort management, by Petra and Morten is top-notch.

Critters, the dive operation, now being managed by Birgitte, is very well run. Nitrox tanks were always full, and on only one tank out of 30 was the fill different from 32...remarkable! we dived with several different guides, usually with 4 people on the boat, and generally did our own thing, with the critter finding augmented by the sharp eyes of the guides. only one dive was less than an hour, with the average being 67 minutes.

Overall, we did not see the profusion of critters at we had seen in 2003, though several dives were dynamite, with frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, and multiple species of octopus.
