This resort keeps improving on every visit. They now have more garden rooms and the lounge/bar/restaurant area has more options. Breakfast you can order what you want or do the omelet station. Lunch and dinner are plated and the food is always great. The chef makes delicious Indonesian / asian food and the western fare is also good. There is also additional boat available. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the staff will bend over backwards to make your stay memorable. Now for the diving.... Critters heaven with no other boats, what else can you want? Dive guides are all very good with some eagle eyes in the group. It is great to see old friendly faces and better, they all remember you by name, ability, and what you like to see! The mention of sharks is because they remembered our love for sharks and found us a couple of baby bamboo sharks. They have new resort and dive ops managers in the form of a young super enthusiastic couple (Emily and Joe) working the resort and Nus the new Ops Mgr. This trip we had crazy currents on most dives, but the guides managed to find either sheltered places or better times of the day so the photographers would have an easier time. Also, because of currents the ubiquitous Ambon litter was not there - a big plus. I just wish we could go more often. |
