Comments The downside of this trip was the travel time to the destination. It was 2 days; this could be shortened, but due to jet lag considerations we didn't think this was a good idea. Due to the remoteness, the channels of communication were very limited, but this is not a big surprise. The most pleasant surprise was how well organized the dive operation was. They took us to a variety of dive sites, so that we were not seeing the same thing unless it was worthwhile (there were 2 dives to see the reef mantas). They took excellent care of us - our divemaster worked with me to reduce weights until we were both convinced that I had reached the optimal weighting. Additionally, there were 5 divemasters for 14 divers, so the groups were very small. The operation also took great care of our equipment, especially the break-down and drying out of equipment at the end of the trip. Everything was dry for packing. Although I am not a photographer, the photographers on the trip seemed pleased with the accommodations for them.
