Comments We had a great 7 night trip. The crew made the best of the Bali to Bali itinerary and moved to cover everything they thought we should see. We had several land excursions as well. Our favorite was the walk on Rinca to see the dragons. The dive deck is well laid out and we had bins under the benches at our station. Music plays while gearing up. Diving from the inflatables was easy. We loved our dive guide Angela. We had one snorkeler in our group and she was happy with the snorkel options. The diving around Komodo is just beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and it looked like most of the rooms on the main deck were the same. This is good for a group when you want everyone to have a nice room. The ensuite bathroom is small and the shower is low water pressure. The crew was fun and helpful. We enjoyed meeting fellow passengers. The price was less than other luxury boats in the area. Overall, it was a wonderful trip and I was very impressed with the Mermaid II.

UW Photo Comments The crew was very careful with cameras and had appropriate rinse buckets. There is one camera table. It would be difficult if everyone had a large rig. We were a mixed group of Go Pros & large housings so we were fine. The crew made room on a side table for extra storage and allowed us to stash our camera bags near the table.
