Comments I spent one week at Misool in mid-January 2023. Both the resort and the diving were truly excellent.
To start, the resort itself is stunningly beautiful. I had a very well-appointed, large overwater bungalow that looked out on a beautiful lagoon. Snorkeling off my deck, I found blue-spotted stingrays, turtles, and many blacktip sharks (along with some fine coral patches). Snorkeling around the resort and nearby islands was phenomenal too. And at night, just feet off the boat dock, I snorkeled with blacktip sharks, huge jacks, potato cods, and snappers - all circling loads of small fish attracted to several underwater l ... Hello Curtis, I was wondering, was there anything you wish you could have brought with you? I'll be going there in March (finally).

Yes, I wish I had brought my Wife, daughter and cat so I would not have needed to leave Misool Seriously, the resort is incredibly well equipped. For example, they have reef-safe sunscreen and an array over over-the-counter medicine for guests to use. Probably the only thing I wish I had taken was a good light for the night diving. They will rent you a light but it is small and expensive to rent, so it is worth taking one with you. I hope that helps.

Thank you for the quick response. Even we are hoping we won't love it too much.

Oh, remembered something for you to take. Some of the marine life will be very small (Pygmy seahorses, for example). Make sure you have a magnifying glass or a prescription mask or the right contacts that allow you to see the small critters.
