Comments Object of the trip way to photograph the Mula Mula. That was what drove the decision on location and time of year. Nomads delivered in spades on the first dive. Picked up at 5:30 AM and on the water at dawn. Out to "Blue Corner" and there was the photo op at 120 ft. Note water in this area is cold, 64F on the first dive and I underestimated it, leaving our dive hoods at home. It is a little warmer on the other side of the island. If you try this it is worth noting that lights bother the Mula Mula. My wife did everything with natural light and it worked very well, one much larger than her actually came up to her. We saw some other divers using lights and the smaller mula mula fled them.

Other highlights of the week were the Mantas and even a Thresher shark on the last dive. Water was cold the whole week and almost all dives were with current. It did appear that the locals are taking much better care of the reefs than we have noted in other places.

Rental gear was all new Scubapro. They have a pool for dive training before your open water and do a lot of instructor training.

They can arrange any level of accommodation and will pick you up in the morning.

Nice people and good diving and equipment.
