Comments It was very far trip but worth every penny.
To reach the Una Una volcano took a lot of determination. The flights only good connection from Jakarta to Ampana via Palu. Only lion air flies this route however from Ampana to Una Una you can take direct boat for 3 million rupiahs.
People at Sanctum helps organize everything for the transfer all you have to do is send them a whatsapp message.
After 48 hours of travel we arrived in the middle of the jungle in the tomini bay. Super remote.
Resorts is clean and basic. We are diving in the short distances from the resort and the sea is full of schools of fishes and macro life.
Barracuda schools jackfishes school tuna school, eagle rays and beautiful corals all over the place.
Price is relatively cheap for stay and diving.
Resort manager Anni and Teresa is hospitable and dive guide is mostly attentive for macro stuff.
We really enjoyed the place and the dive. However the trip there have to be planned perfectly. It can be quite the hassle
