Comments Lembeh is synonymous with muck diving, macro photography, and unusual critters. To complement your trip, the Solitude Resort in Lembeh is the perfect place to stay.
Resort staff will meet your flight and or pick you up from your hotel in Manado. The drive to the resort is approximately one hour.
Arriving guests are greeted in the lobby with a welcome drink, rooms/bungalows are assigned and paperwork is finalized. A staff member will guide you to your room and assist in handling your dive gear. The rooms are large and air-conditioned. The Garden Villas have outside showers if you choose.
The camera room is large with lighting and electricity available at every station. Be sure to bring an international plug adapter.
The resort’s accommodations are all nestled among beautiful gardens and the centerpiece is an Infinity pool overlooking the Lembeh Straits. Every morning guests delight in watching the fast-flying Swallows dipping into the pool for a drink.
Dining times coincide with dive times starting with coffee/tea, fruit and snack at 6 am. The first dive 7:30 am. For every meal, a choice is made from a menu of both Western and Indonesian dishes.
The dive schedule is set for three dives a day, but requests can be made for additional dives, such as a night dive and the evening Mandarin dive.
Overall I rate the resort as a solid 5-star. Beautiful property, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and fantastic diving.
