Comments We have dived Lembeh many times staying at Kasawari and when it first became Solitude. Since our previous visit they did major remodeling. In addition to the original bures, they added rooms in the 2 story building that used to house the office and restaurant and built a new and larger restaurant and bar where the dive prep area used to be. There is a new large camera room in the building with the restaurant.

We've always stayed in the bures which are spacious and very pleasant. The food is very good and the menu the same as it has been in the past, with breakfast served off the menu, lunch and dinner either off the menu or buffet style depending on the number of guests. Snacks are provided on return dives that don't end right before a meal.

The diving is off of boats with a cutout in the side which makes exit and entry very easy. The floating dock has been gone for years, but they now put a step out when needed to get on and off the boat depending on the level of the tide.

It is typical Lembeh diving. Muck with lots of critters to see, sometimes by yourself, and sometimes only because the sharp eyed guides point them out. We also saw some very nice coral areas which we hadn't been to in our previous visits.

The guides are very good both at spotting critters and helping with gear, etc. Service is excellent. They rinse wetsuits and hang them to dry between dives

UW Photo Comments The camera room has spacious spots for each diver. If you place camera gear on the table outside the camera room, the guides will bring it to the boat and rinse and return it afterward.
