Comments We spent 5 days at Two Fish Lembeh and had a wonderful vacation doing some serious muck and critter diving. Most of the divers were serious photographers and they certainly had lots to photograph. This is truly the muck/critter diving capital of the world. No walls or huge coral formations but there are some smaller ones in the shallows. Water temperature was from 79-82F with visibility from 40 – 70 ft. We had Heskel who without a doubt was the best guide and true expert at finding critters and and identification on his slate. Bring along a 10X magnifying glass to see some of the critters or a macro camera lens. Dives were as long as you air lasted and Nitrox is available. Some dives were up to 75 mins with several minutes in the shallower areas to safely off gas. This is small critter diving and a photographers paradise.

The food was very good with made to order breakfast every day with a large buffet lunch and dinner. Everyone sat at a long communal table with the buffet table close by. Internet WIFI was slow but reliable and available in the lounge/bar area.

I had a medical issue (no fault of the resort) and had to have an emergency unplanned evening trip to Manado. Two Fish was right there the whole time making arrangements, transfers, interpreter, providing oxygen and making sure I was taken care of. They even accompanied me to the hospital and followed up afterwards. Robyn and Scott the resident managers were the best.

Spend a week at Two Fish Lembeh then another week in Bunaken for two very different types of diving as they are just a few hours from each other with transfers easily make through Two Fish.
