Comments Not for novice divers. Had to contend with currents on non-drift dives. On several occasion had to struggle with currents to get reef hook set.

There are reported to be 400 live aboards in the Maldives. At many sites there ere multiple boats in the area. You need a SMB attached to a reel to deploy before you surface. You need a reef hook to hook into the reef to hold yourself against the current.

If you plan on paying in cash make sure to take new bills. A number of persons had previous versions of US $100 bills. Neither Aggressor or the restaurant for the onshore dinner would take them. They said the banks would not take them.

The deluxe cabins of the Aggressor were comfortable and have stand alone showers. There was plenty of hot water. The cabins had adequate storage space. There was 12 staff for 14 divers providing very good service. All diving is from a large support vessel where your dive gear remains for the duration of the trip. You place your wet suit in a rinse tank and the staff rinses it and hang it up to dry for the next dive. The dive staff were friendly and almost all understood American english.
