Maldives is a must dive on the bucket list. Lots of diving due to live aboard. Dive crew was very accommodating and did great job of keeping things together during a difficult time. Unfortunately, Blue O Two charted the boat we were on and it leaked exhaust fumes throughout the boat making it difficult to sleep for many who retired to the upper deck to sleep under the stars. Also, the nitrox generator only worked for a few hours on the first day, eliminating its use. They were waiting for parts to come from Europe when we boarded. Blue O Two rightfully compensated us with partial refunds and vouchers towards a future trip on the many live aboards they operate throughout the world. Saw all kinds of sharks and rays. Several dives required hooks to anchor in due to current. Be sure to bring one on board because they run out of those that are for sale. Despite the inconvenience posed by the boat and lack of nitrox, the dive crew made the trip well forth while. |
