Comments Good:warm water, great visibility, lots of sharks, rays, mantas , turtles, eels , small reef fish, health corals, dive guides good at pointing out sea life , divers not mollycoddled re how they dove once they showed crew they knew how to dive , Orion is a brand new, beautiful boat and very clean, Nitrox included in price of trip

Not so good: air conditioning on boat inadequate and dining room particularly steamy; food bland and unvaried, albeit nutritious ; ran out of beer and the wine mediocre and limited in selection ( but then in a Muslim country liquor is not readily available; boat's web site misleading in stating massage services are available when in fact none are; save for boat's on board operator Alex and the cook, none of the crew spoke English with any fluency, making guests' communications with staff challenging when Alex was off the boat doing various chores ; save for one day, limited to three dives/day when with such great diving an option for a 4th dive would have been desirable.

What I wished I knew prior to leaving home: that the boat - which used din rather than yoke valves- had no din valve for my pony tank, so that I could not ufill my pony tank ( I use a yoke valve and had no idea boat used din valves).
