Comments I have been to the Conrad Rangali several times (see my previous reports). This year the dive operation in the resort was new, Ocean Dive Centre having replaced the previous on site operator. That said, Ocean were good with a really high quality operation and good rental gear.

The diving near Rangali (particularly in the Dry Monsoon from December to April) is exceptional with a very reliable manta site very close to Rangali. I saw several mantas on each dive at that site, although it can now get very busy with divers from liveaboards. The dive centre offers two tank morning dives, normally to sites in Ari Atoll within about a one hour journey time. There are many good sites on offer. There is a one tank afternoon dive with stays close to the resort including the manta point. The dive masters and drone crew are very experienced and extremely helpful. Dives are well briefed and generally last up to one hour. Nitro is available.
