Comments The rides out to most sites were 1.5+. I realize they can't help that but it was a bit of a drag but the boats were comfortable enough with moderate sun protection. We passed the time along with mindless banter or even a snooze. The divemasters were all wonderful. They were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating yet had a keen eye towards safety. There was nothing more I could have asked of them.

The mantas were in town! We swam with them on 4 occasions (I think there were 5 different mantas, each making multiple passes). What a thrill! They came within a couple feet of us many times and were 12-16 feet tip to tip. On one site, the sea lions were also busy playing, diving and cooling off. Seeing the mantas and sea lions in the same field of view made me stop and appreciate the life I've lead. The sea lions varied from very interactive young ones (hugging you, pulling on your hoses and fins) to intimidating for the big bulls. They aren't looking for a fight so we would just give them some space.

We did a Chinese wreck (twice) and it was nice but I'm not much of a wreck guy but it was better than most.

There was more coral than I anticipated and it seemed very healthy.

I liked that they picked us up every dive day and offered to drop us back off. However, most of the time the bar on site delayed our immediate return and we Ubered for $2.00 back to our hotel on our own.

They weren't cheap but with all the fuel they burn to get out to the sites, it's completely understandable and I don't think they out of line at all.
