Comments I have been looking at trying the live aboard Natilus Explorer for some time. I haven't dived cold water for awhile. 7MM for the great white trip to Guadelup is a must.

I went with a Superior Suite and thought it great. It had a DVD TV and queen bed.

We had 22 people on board. I went solo and thought the folks I met on board were great.

The drill with this itinerary is straight forward. 1 day boat trip to island, 4 cages lowered, 2 at 30 feet, 1 at 15 feet, and 1 at 5 feet. You breath through an air hose/hooka from the boat.

You dive up to 4 times per day in the 30 foot cage and/or use the surface and 15 foot cage all you want.

1st dive saw only the glimpse of one. All of the following dives, we saw multiple great whites up to 5 during one dive. An enterprising sea lion 'played' with these guys all day on the last day. Opporutnities for photos were amazing. You are diving 400 yards from Guadelup, but you are in the 'big blue.'

Crew was very hard working and aims to please. In fact they were wonderful and informative. The food was great and more than I could/should eat.

Trip started in San Diego Ramada for a 2 hour trip to Ensenada. I felt safe the entire time.

Great once in a life time experience.
