Comments This was my first liveaboard trip and it was so good I did not want to get off the boat when the trip ended.
Lots of Mantas, Hammerheads, silkies, whitetips, silvertips,
some Tuna and numerous others.Weather was mostly good, just one storm with heavy rain at night and visibility next day not good after rain.
After the one day storm all was good vis again.
Sten the DiveMaster was THE best. He is professional, kind, protective, very knowlegeable about marine life; he is an excellent diver, diplomat and very sociable. He has a great sense of humor and inspires confidence.
We dove San Benedicto and Roca Partida; the Mexican Navy had practive manouvers at Socorro Island so we were not allowed access to Socorro I. this trip.
The amenities and crew were Outstanding even thought this was my
first liveaboard I have no complaints.
I went alone and shared a room with a complete stranger who turned
out to be a terrific roomate who tolerated all my questions and
helped me out with my newness to liveaboard diving.
My only wish is to get to do this trip again; thank you Nautilus
Explorer.
