Comments	Hurricane Amanda did us a favor. I don't think I would have selected the Sea of Cortez for a dive trip had Hurricane Amanda not redirected our Socorro trip their. The owner and crew of Nautilus Explorer could not have been more gracious and accommodating. We spent a great week visiting known sites and also doing some exploration of new sites. There were curious and playful sea lion, plentiful reef fish and pods of dolphins. However the hi-lite of the trip were the schools of thousands of juvenile barracuda that darkened the water when they passed overhead. We plan a return visit next year to dive Socorro, but if not, I'd dive the Sea of Cortez again.
