Comments | What an amazing trip. We departed San Diego at about 8pm for the drive to Ensenada on Nautilus' private coach. With only 20 divers the trip was very comfortable as the bus seats at least 50. Entry into Mexico was simple and we were back on our way to the boat. I was in cabin J and the room was small but very adequate, who needs much room on a dive boat. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. The ride over to Guadalupe was a bit rocky with 3-3.5 meter swells, but we made it there the next evening. The food on the boat was delicious and always plentiful. Breakfast was made to order with several selections from eggs to french toast. Lunch and dinner varied each day and was delicious. The important part...the diving. The dive masters are extremely helpful and always there to lend a hand with weights and camera gear. You have 3 scheduled submersible dives each day and I did all but one as the action on the surface was really good and I stayed in the surface cage. The surface cages are open pool and you can go in as much as you like space permitting. I never had a problem and was in the water as much as I wanted...only to get out to changes camera batteries or eat. We had to end our trip half a day early as a storm was approaching but the boat gave us a generous voucher for another trip in the future. I would definitely go on another trip with Nautilus. | ||
