Comments I think the diving is sometimes high voltage there, but I couldn't prove it from my trip. The visibilty was usually terrible and the chill water mandates a thick wet-suit and one diver was glad he had a dry suit! Currents are often strong and unpredicatble but were well-handled by the divemasters and not a major problem. The poor viz reduces one to looking for flat-worms and critters. The lone whale shark was spotted at the end of the dive and vanished quickly into the "soup". The crew, food, and sevice on the boat were terrific.
The itinerary varies according to time of year. I would strongly recommend a phone call to them about current and anticipated conditions if you have a hankering to try the Sea of Cortez, before you book. There are trips to the Soccoro Islands, also.
