Comments [None]Arrived from Buffalo and had arranged to be transferred via cape travel to the boat. Unfortunately cape travel transferred me to a local taxi as they did not have enough drivers and the cabbie had no idea how to find the boat. 1.5 hours later we found the boat by accident. The boat itself is dated with tiny cabins and a lounge area and dining room that are one and the same. While the physical plant is dated the rest of the story is excellent. The diving was outstanding. The divemasters were terrific. Tony the chef did an admirable job and i would say every meal was good. One major complaint is they ran out of canned diet coke and coke. Friends on the boat say this happens a lot on the Solmar V. Memo to the manager less beer more soft drinks. Not having diet coke is truly unacceptable. In addition not having regular dry towels after a dive and having to keep one towel all day seems a little ridiculous when there is a dryer on the upper deck. In addition the cleaning of the rooms could be improved as well......having said this the diving was outstanding and i had a blast. The diving was safe, professional and totally amazing with the friendliest mantas in the world......
