Comments This was my second trip with the Solmar V to this destination. I had originally called the dive shop to find out about another trip, but when they mentioned they were going to Socorro I jumped at it. The first trip had been good. Then we had talked the crew into staying the last day at Roca Partida because it was literally non stop action. On 2 dives we saw 6 species of shark, the Mantas were always there and visits by Dolphins, Wahoo, Yellowtail Tuna and Bonito happened almost every dive. That meant a 33 hour ride back to the dock in Cabo San Lucas. This trip Roca Partida was dead. The crew said they hadn’t seen a Manta in the last 2 trips, and we left after only 2 dives. There was action however on Soccoro and San Benidicto. I was disappointed, but no one else was. I did get to see my first 2 Tiger Sharks though.

On the way back it rained. The way the boat is constructed all the water drained from the upper deck directly onto the charging stations. When I got home I found out my battery charger had been fried. That should be fixed.
